Our Mission
As an organization, we are dedicated to promoting and developing table tennis across the Commonwealth. We strive to foster inclusivity, encourage grassroots participation, and create opportunities for players at all levels. Through global partnerships, sponsorships, and outreach programs, we aim to make table tennis accessible to all, enhance the sporting culture, and contribute to the physical and mental well-being of communities across our member nations.


Game-changing Milestones
in Commonwealth Table Tennis
1969
The vision for Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships was born at the World Championships in Munich, led by a steering committee chaired by A.K. (Bill) Vint.
1971
The first Commonwealth Championships took place in Singapore from March 20–25.
2002
Table Tennis debuted at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester and has been a core event ever since.
2019
CTTF partnered with ITTF to enhance the sport's development across Commonwealth nations.
2022
Table Tennis featured in its sixth Commonwealth Games at Birmingham, highlighting its growing impact.
